Fishing Mackerel with Kensho, Peter’s class mate from Tokyo. The fish was smoked and eaten with chopsticks a few hours later – fresh and delicious!






Somw wasps built a home at the terrace, and we had to remove it. Watching the life inside the nest was, according to Arne: “the most seldom thing he had seen” and made it “the best day in his life”.



Our house from 1959 needs maintenance, and not much has been done during the years we lived in Japan. We have several projects every year, and we are now draining around the house with new pipes to lead the water away and make the basement walls stronger.
