Kawagoe “Little Edo” (??)
A 30 minutes subway ride from Tokyo. the construction of fireproof storehouses started in 1720, and many can still be seen as a reminder of the Edo era.
The Bell Tower (Tokino Kane) was first built in 1624, but the present was rebuilt after the great fire in 1893:
