Nikko

Japan’s great man, Ieyasu Tokugawa, is enshrined in Nikko. The temples in Nikko were founded in 766, and is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. It took total number of 4,540,000 (yes: four million five hundred and fourty thousand) people 1 year and 5 months to complete construction of the buildings.
